Mattel Disney Pixar Diecast CARS: On Sale All Over!

TARGET TOY CLEARANCE

Target likes to clear old stock by marking it down before a reset (and sometimes re-ordering the same item …) but hey, good for us …

Didn’t see much in the ways of CARS items but this is marked down …

T5 Race Target

Note: MagCloud sent us this note, “During this time we are discounting our production costs by 20% and extending this discount to each of you,” but it looks like it’s 20% off “their” base amount they charge us and not 20% off the final retail price so as someone pointed out, the discount in final total is closer to 10% – hopes that makes sense …

Thanks!

just got word from our walmart reset will be next week and they believe cars will get more than the 4′ they have right now.

NO clue why the reset is coming the same week as inventory makes NO sense to me.

And they raised the lenticulars up to 3.97 instead of 2.97 bummer.

    • TJH-AZ says:

The lenticulars have always been $3.97 at the 13 WM’s near me. In the beginning, when they didn’t scan at some stores, they might have sold them for $2.97 if you brought up an old car for them to scan, but once they were in the system, they’ve always rung up @ $3.97. I’m in the south east valley of Phoenix.
What I find most interesting is the chase, non lenticular, regular plastic wheel cars selling for the lenticular price at WM. I guess that’s what happens when they package the Chase regular within the Lenticular cases. Either way, the Chase cars are a dollar more than they should be.

Just hitone of our Targets and the RESET has begun . . . . 🙂

    (MET: Nice! Take some pics!)

  • iamspeed says:

I just ordered both issues of the TakeFive magazines last week, got them in the mail on Tuesday. Doubtful that I’d get a credit back for the difference between what I paid and the sale prices, huh?

(MET: Sorry, just got the email today – no warning or heads up for me that it was going on until the email …).

  • iamspeed says:

Our nearest Kmart has CARS singles priced at $2.99, including what they had left of the rubber-tired racers from June.

  • BigMOCats says:

Doesn’t look like 20% to me. First one lists for $10.19 and the second for $11.99. 20% off that would be $4.43 leaving a total due of $17.74 before shipping. My total came to $22.18 before S&H.. It did list a “birthday” sale price on the order BUT it was the already listed price above. The amount off to get to that was under 10%.

(MET: This was the email I got … “During this time we are discounting our production costs by 20% and extending this discount to each of you.” … I guess it does not include our cost – I will add that to the post – thanks).

  • Mr. T says:

May check there tomorrow…. nothing I really need – when are they re-releasing the 1st storyteller line?? (Smell swell etc……)

  • MackDaddy says:

    You should have said,”FIRST.” 😉

  • Mr. T says:

    Darn it! Wasn’t going to so I won’t 🙂
