The mainline singles CASE F and the Mini’s CASE D have arrived …

While CHUCK the car itself is great as usual, his artwork on the front is definitely weird. It’s almost like Pixar sent over the artwork that’s not fully rendered.

What makes a 1-dimensional illustration come to life is shading, shadows and details. Just look at Wingo above – Chuck card representation is missing all three elements, he’s basically just a blue outline … weird … again, the CAR is great as usual – only in this line would they bother not only making a Chrysler K-Car (I think) plus extending all the effort on the details (like the hub & spokes on his wheels) … the card art is weird though.

So, let’s just concentrate on the CAR 🙂

Of course, Chick is gonna hang out with the PRESS colleagues …

Again, great detailing for a character that has the screen time of seconds …

Not pictured on card above is Nitroade Pitty since it’s more appropriate he’s hanging out with Nitroade the Piston Cup racer …

Though he’s not sure why newer Nitroade has a slightly different color ‘stache and slightly different orange color …

But the biggest interest might be? Correct Lightning McQueen – finally with the correct Rust-eze decal on the back spoiler.

The contents of CASE F …

While not the most exciting of Singles CASES, in addition to the “NEW” CHASE Impound Wingo, Nitroade Pitty & Chuck Manifold, for CARD COMPLETISTS, it is the first appearance of Old School Ramone, Cactus Lightning McQueen & Tongue McQueen on Race O Rama card. Let the dancing in the streets begin.

And for those catching up, Greta, Hank Murphy & Damaged King.

And CASE D of the MINI’s really only contains two new 2-packs, for those who haven’t seen much on the store shelves, it’s a nice catch-up case though with some of the recent appealing ones like the monster trucks and Nitroade/Leak Less:
