Mattel Pixar Diecast CARS: Movie Moments Mini Update

So, what is going with Movie Moments? Yes, they will be will be a Target exclusive and the next shipments should start arriving at Target before the end of November.

Are they WOC just with a Target sticker or are they WOC: Race O Rama with Target Exclusive stickers?

No one knows for certain but if I had to guess, I would say they will do the art switchover to WOC: ROR so I know some card completists will want to hustle to complete their collection but don’t do it on my guess … of course, even if they don’t switch art design, you’ll have to decide if a sticker on the blister bubble is considered a packaging variant 🙂

What’s the new case assortment? Don’t know and frankly, it hardly matters as no one can order a case anyway – we all pretty much just have to show up at Target to see – though of course, if anyone spots the new look (whether just with a sticker or Race O Rama), take some pics and email us.

None of the configs have been retired so the first “re-release” & subsequent “re-releases” should contain most of the current configurations – again, presumably with the new card design.

Sarge returning?

Don’t know.

But we should see the US releases already available internationally including:

Lightning McQueen & Kori Turbowitz
Fillmore & Whitewalls McQueen

Beyond 2008, we should eventually start to get new configurations but no word on what they might be and as noted, now that they are exclusives, info might not be available until you round the corner and say, hey, look, it’s Sarge (wake up, wake up!).

Our last post listed the last two cases available along with canceled CASE G. You might still be able to order some cases through places like CTC … If you’re only missing a few, don’t forget to check places like Mervyn’s to save a little …
