40 Gigabits Per Second Surfing Speeds Can Be Yours…In Sweden
CNN had a short blurb today about a 75-year old woman who can surf the web at 40 gigabits per second. That is fast enough to download an entire movie in 2 seconds. Whoa. Sign me up!
The speed is reached using a new modulation technique that allows the sending of data between two routers placed up to 1,240 miles apart, without any transponders in between according to the folks that installed it.
Reportedly she uses it to read newspapers. Hah. We all know she will be lurking in chat rooms and downloading prOn. “Psst. Ya, hey you. Want to see the lady and the reindeer?”
