Went to the preview day today from 1:00PM to 5:00PM. Probably won’t be that empty for a while or ever again. Cars Land is AWESOME.

Radiator Springs Racers is almost worth the price of admission by itself. They really could have made two separate rides out of that one. Skip Luigi’s; it’s not worth waiting in line. Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree was a pleasant surprise.

Flo’s is pretty good. The prices were reasonable (for Disney) and food was above average. The Cozy Cone is a nightmare.  It took almost an hour to get popcorn in a plastic McQueen container and a soda in a traffic cone.  If it were not for the containers (very cool containers/souvenirs), we would have bought the food and drink elsewhere (at a much, much lower price). 

Ramone’s and Sarge’s had some neat stuff. Lizzie’s is a disappointment. They should revamp Lizzie’s and do it soon. All three stores could be a merchandising wet dream. There is so much potential.

Can’t wait for June 15th. We’ll be able to see the neon all lit up at night. 

BTW, Time Travel Mater goes a long way in explaining a lot of what you see while moving through the line at the ride.  If we had not seen that Tall Tale, we might have said, "Oh, that is neat."  But, we kept saying things like, "Hey there's the spring!  There's the building made of bottles!  Look at the wedding photo of Stanley and Lizzie!"

I am a newb and don't know how to post photos, but I'll try to figure it out tonight.  I was there in the daytime, so no photos with the neon all lit up.  At least, not yet…we're going Friday for opening day.  I'll take lots of photos at night and post them.

Not much for exclusive diecasts.  They had the Pirate Mater and the McQueen with Mickey Ears/Mater with Goofy Hat and the 1:55 Mater's Junkyard Jamboree tractors.  The Radiator Springs Racer diecasts were not available, but should be well stocked on Friday.

I'm sure in due time, WDW will get a Cars Land of some sort.  I just cannot see Disney making it exclusive to DCA.  It will be a $$$-making machine.
