Mike,

I found a Denise 4-pack a couple of weeks ago (not on sale) in a small local Target. It has finally hit the Super Targets this week.

Glad the Florida crew got Denise finally.  I can't wait for her to show up here.

Finally found a Denise 4-pack at a Target in Chicago (north suburbs), after searching countless Chicagoland stores repeated times over many weeks.  Wish they were plentiful here like they have been in other regions, so that I could help out some fellow Cars fans, but hey, I consider myself lucky.

Found two Francesco silver accent puzzle cars at Target last Saturday during the Buy one get one 1/2 off sale, saw a Raoule as well but no Mcqueen.  Denise Beam 4 pack was there but only one.  Waited until Tuesday for the next sale and luckily got the 4 pack for 14.99. Sale goes til this Saturday the 17th.

The 2 packs are down to 4.99 but alas all same stock that has been on the shelves for ever. Expect to see the 7 pack Racing Rivalry go on clearance after Christmas.

So far Denise is really rare. I've only found one among many Targets around Los Angeles. Maybe she'll unofficially be the first super chase. Wink

I still see Denise at several different Targets in the area.  Maybe the sale price of $15 for the box set will move her out the door.  I am still going to hold out until next month to try to get her for under $10.  I haven't found the new puzzles yet.  These are at Target now, right?

So far the puzzles have only been found at Target but they should eventually show up at TRU and CVS.

Why not hedge your bet and buy Denise while you can? Target is very liberal with returns, I've brought Cars back months later without a receipt and they cheerfully take them back.

I noticed that the 7-packs have been further reduced to a total of $15, at least in my area.  So Frank Clutchenson is now a $15 car.

They are still using a valid receipt to return at the higher price.

How about this one:

Someone buys the Cars 2 dvd with Ransburg Finn at $29. The packaging is opened.  The Cars 2 dvd is still in it's retail packaging and it is returned back to store at a price of $24 dollars, being the normal price for the dvd itself.

Or… I saw this one at Target.  The Clutchenson pack had been returned minus Frank & Lewis.  2 other cars were in their places.  That is more of a case of retail fraud.

Two trains are traveling opposite directions on the same track at varying speeds…   🙂

I ended up getting Frank Clutchenson loose last summer for $10.  The 7 pack in my Target on Thursday was $20.  This time, I'm going to wait until the Denise four packs get clearanced for less than that.  I think $8 or $9, and I will be fine getting Denise and the 3 extra cars.

It's my right as a cunsumer to return an unopened packaged with a valid receipt within the alotted time frame.

There system is flawed if this was not "appropriate".

If Target sees the items as equivalent, why can't I?

Again, not opening anything, just returning an identical item in target's eyes.  They don't track UPCs, they track DCPI.

I'm certainly not the first one.

Yeah, I think your conscience is clear on that one, retail fraud or not.
