Yeah that's too funny. It's crazy the assumptions some people try to make. I wish I could get store exclusives directly from Mattel. I would quit my day job.
How could not some not understand that Mattel wouldn't break licensing agreements and sell store exclusives to others? It's just comical.
Anyway I didn't find the John L. Crew chiefs yet. Neither did others that have reported finding them. Only Francesco's crew chief so far. I thought I had missed the John L but after reading other reports I believe the two latest crew chiefs are not packed together and for now it's the Francesco cases being delivered to stores.

Jack, according to my email sources that is exactly what i going on. Mattel distributors and I heard you also were getting direct and not even going to a Kmart.
maybe it is a conspiracy theory… who knows
So… might want to check out CTT.

Just found the Jeff gorvette 2 pack and there are lots of them and the fillmore mcqueen 2 pack ill pick up if anyone needs I'm n Colorado Colorado springs

Both sets found this afternoon in New Mexico at one Kmart. 3 Gorvette/ lassetires and 1 Francesco Crew Chief. Also Fillmore Crew Chief/Mcqueens as well. Case has both new sets in it.

Our Kmart was FLUSH with LMQ/Fillmore sets when I was there Saturday to score my McQueen Alive, can't imagine they will shelve new chiefs until they sell these down a bit…

I guess I waited too long for LMQ alive. It was gone everywhere and sounds like it's back up to $40 something anyway.
The three of the four stores I looked at had none of the crew chief sets either. One had the Filmore/LMQ which was the first time I've seen those on pegs.

Went to two Kmarts today. One had nothing special but the other had four Lassetires/Gorvettes, one Carla/chief, a bunch of Fillmore/Lightenings and a Bernoulli/Motorosi.
What color is your Motorist? Ours aren't really red like Bernoulli, its more of a pinkish-orange color than a red.

This is the case contents above.
Selling fast as Saturday the case was not pegged, and by Sunday afternoon
only a couple of Lassetire and one Francesco were left.
Color is definitely not red on the Bruno Motorosi.

They hit Illinois. Thanks again everyone for the timely info, it saved the Chicago club a lot of headaches and gas money (BTW Danny Kachow where are you?). So they've been spotted in all but the mountain timezone/region now?
