About
TakeFiveADay is the new home of the killer blog 2ADay.Wordpress.com! It has taken longer than we would have preferred but we are finally making the transition to our new home.
The Robot Header image is indeed from the classic game Rockem, Sockem Robots. It was serendipitous that the image parlayed nicely for political posts as one is Red and the other is Blue. We gave up chatting about politics as it is mostly pointless, filled with whiny tripe, and handled quite well by several online bloggers already. Suffice to say, the Robots speaks to our inner child that we refuse to let go of and wish to nurture. We hope this fuels our passions as more ‘experienced Americans’. Heh.
Metroxing writes and posts about his many passions including Pixar Cars.
Tizmanian has not posted steadily in months since his new day job has pounded his free time into oblivion. He hopes to update and post more often soon.

Hello 2aday
Our team just launched a new collaborative web-based mind mapping tool called Comapping. We have had a lot of interest from both the business and educational segment. It is worth checking it out at comapping.com . Let me know if you have any questions or feedback.

Did you have to customize the css…to get the photos on your category pages for this template. Would appreciate your feedback and if you did modify it, how did you go about doing that…thanks for helping a newbie..

(METROXING: WORDPRESS>DASHBOARD>PRESENTATION>CUSTOM IMAGE HEADER … yea, Wordpress’ menus could use some re-naming but great blogging tool!

give us some insight on the “person behind the blog.”It would just take a few minutes of your time. The interview form can

Did you get an iPhone? Can you blog into the WordPress web interface with it? In my fondle, it took very long to try to get to the Dashboard and since it was iDay, I had to quit waiting to let someone else try it. I’d love to be able to blog into the WP Write web interface with it!
(METROXING: My phone is in the internet order pipeline, I was too lazy to drive down and wait in line - clearly, it looks like if I drove back in at about 10 o’clock, I would’ve gotten one fine but at 6:00:05 PM in front of the computer, I defy anyone to think rationally

But I do look forward to being able to blog from my iPhone. Let us know how what you think?)[Reply]

Hi Metroxing,
I was wondering if you would be willing to beta test my very first web application for the iPhone. It’s a simple RSS feed reader I whipped up and would love to have you feedback on it. (You don’t have to write about it on your blog or anything; I would just like your feedback).
Best,
Farhan[Reply]

I am new at all of this. I have a question. Has anyone received a free Lighting McQeen in the mail from Milton F Ang , Alameda, CA . I am sure that I signed up for something on line but can’t remember where. Any ideas? Also, if I am just getting started……where in the world do I begin?
(MET: That’s odd about the CAR (I deleted the rest of the address) but welcome to CARS. This is a post I did last year that needs updating but might help you get started. It can be overwhelming but there should be plenty on the shelves … depending on where you live, you might start with KB, Fred Meyer or Mervyns who are having sales now … then go to WM and then read this post about what’s coming this holiday season (IT’S A LOT OF STUFF!) … Guess it’s time to do a newbie post …).[Reply]
