Mattel Disney Pixar CARS 3: New CARS 3 Deluxe Oversized Diecasts + Haulers + Radiator Springs Classic

No, surprise, Deluxe CARS 3 diecasts – in fact, these are revealing in terms of characters and what the storyline might be so … SPOILER ALERT!

Oversized Deluxe Lineup. What RV has a crown and flags? Of course, if its CARS 3, then we have no idea what it looks but we’re definitely getting a lot of RV’s (even repaints, we’ll take ’em) … the dreaded truck “semi cabs” return – perhaps the only Deluxe ones that we don’t care that much about. AND Sarge with Howitzer is back on the list – hopefully he’ll make it out this time.

AND New HAULERS are finally coming … though since Wally Hauler is listed, does that mean Haulers are now Walmart exclusives? Seems pretty likely.

Hauler

AND Radiator Springs Classic (Toys R Us exclusive) get a Deluxe lineup … and on the surface, listings for a bunch of Haulers are listed (Haulers previously released). BUT a deluxe card will NOT fit a trailer on the card … and there are “semi cabs” listed for some CARS 3 racers meaning we’re only getting the cabs for Chet Boxkaar, Ben Crankleshaft and Jerry Recycled Batteries, etc, etc?

🙁

Hopefully, it’s a mistake but???

New CARS singles list is HERE.

It doesn’t make a lot of sense for there to be Cars 3 releases in the TRU classics lineup: (since they aren’t “classic” yet)

    Hank Weathers Cab (hauler)
    Bobby Swift Cab (hauler)
    Brick Yardley Cab (hauler)
    TBA #1 Cab (hauler)
    TBA #2 Cab (hauler)
    TBA #3 Cab (hauler)

I think these got mis-grouped and will be in the regular Deluxe lineup. Only TRU and Walmart even offer Deluxe currently.

(MET: Yea, hopefully that is the case).

The movie is scheduled for a mid-June release, toys should be in stores by mid-May, and with production lead time, we could be seeing Chinese back-door sales as early as January — though I suspect March is a safer bet.

Very exciting line up. Can’t wait to see how many make it out the back door and onto Amazon before they ever hit the shelfs.
