I made my regular drive from St. Louis to Keokuk (Iowa) yesterday, and for a lark stopped in the Hannibal (Missouri) Walmart. Lo and behold, “Bessie” was on the shelf, for a whopping $4.50. While I didn’t really need one, I got it anyway just for the thrill of finally having found a Bessie at retail.
The same store had plenty of silver and carbon racers, a nice selection of color changers, and a Dinoco Showgirl and several Studs McGirdle.
I found a Bessie at a Walmart in Maryland on Thursday.
I was able to snatch up all the new releases today. Got a few Bessie’s.
This same Walmart actually had ‘Sharpes’ the Plane too, I was very surprised to have see that along with one Bessie. I have yet to see any 2016 singles anywhere, I was actually looking for the new pallet drop mentioned in yesterday’s post. They didn’t have the pallet yet, but I’ll keep on checking, I need an Otis still. This Walmart had an end cap with the March 2015 case selection of TachOMint and Hooman etc.

I actually was able to snatch the lone Otis at walmart a few weeks back. Hasn’t showed up again since.
