  • jrfan says:

    Lol got it long day

  • jrfan says:

OK dump ? But what movie is cars 3 ? And may need more room for new Cars

  • Mack_me_Bucko says:

Wow, five films worth seeing in the next four years. Blech. Where’s “Planes 3”, BTW?

    • quercy says:

You’re right… I believe Planes was planned to be a trilogy from day one… that would be bizarre to have I and II back to back then at least 5 years for the third???

  • gargan123 says:

What about the date they have listed for Star Wars The Force Awakens??? that must be a typo. November 17th??? Has the release been moved up?

(MET: Sorry, lots of dates, fixed).

  • Laika2 says:

Finally! we have a real release date for Cars 3. I hope with this one Pixar leave all that spy stuff and go back to what Cars 1 was, with a story full of emotions and important things!

    • Jinzo says:

I agree. When I first saw Cars II, I HATED it. It almost made me quit Cars collecting. Till this day, I have to say, Cars II is the worst Pixar film. I asked myself what happened to the quality of Cars I. I was almost convinced I was watching a Dreamworks||Fox animation film. Over the years though, I have learned to like the film and it’s mainly due to my Cars collection. If I want to watch a James Bond film, then I’ll watch a James Bond Film. Let’s bring this back the Pixar quality to Cars please.

It looks like this is never going to end from a Cars Collector’s point of view. 😀 Bring it on Mattel! And for great sake, don’t screw up the distribution of the movie line like you did for Cars II. Almost quit and that point since pretty much everything was “Chase” or “Super Chase” towards the end of the line. Horrible distribution.

      • Laika2 says:

Sorry, But I DON’T hate Cars 2. I’m saying that it was terrible as a sequel and has no connexion with the first one, which was wonderful and has more story in it. But Cars 2 itself to me was a good movie, but it failed as a sequel, I wanted a real good sequel for Cars, continuing the story where was left when Radiator Springs is back on the map, I wanted to see that in a sequel not spy stuff and accion and weapons that doesn’t bring anything important for this kind of film. You can watch Cars 1 and then Cars 2 and realize there is no connexion between them both but I gotta say that I adored every part of radiator springs and the friendship between Lightning McQueen and Mater in Cars 2 was pretty good . In conclusion, I think the film would work fine without that spy stuff so I hope Pixar fix what has made and maybe they can create Cars 3 as a story between Cars 1 and Cars 2, to continue Cars 1…and most of all John Lasseter forget about the money in merchandising and come back to what he felt when he created Cars 1…

  • MackDaddy says:

    All good news! Yay!

  • PixarPost says:

Just a side note – the “Dia de los Muertos” film wasn’t announced as part of that presentation. Since Pixar has stated that a film would be released on Nov 22, 2017 one could assume that it will be slotted there – but that hasn’t been assigned to that slot officially.
