Early photos of Ice Racers Jeff Gorvette & Nigel Gearsley … yep, been a while since we’ve seen Wave 2.
With/If/When Ice Racer Jeff Gorvette & Nigel Gearsley out, that leaves only Carla & Rip. Will we get a complete series? Or for that matter, will we actually get a Toon to go with this “toon” diecast series?

My order for these two (Nigel and Jeff) arrived today. They’re what you’d expect, the typical Mattel job, nicely done, and they go right into the cabinet that houses the collection without too much further introspection. Yawn.
So far only McQueen, Vitaly, Raoul and Max have showed up in here…
So we still need Carla, Rip, and Frosty to complete the set.
(MET: There seems to be a backdoor auction for an Ice Frosty so I’m guessing that is the Target car this Fall).
Is this line going to be like the Neon Racers?

Toons have be released in a very sporadic sequence… four in 2008, one in 2009, four in 2010, then one in 2011, 2012 and 2014. Three have been released in 2013 but I am not considering , “Hiccups”, “Bugged” and “Spinning” Cannot de compared to the other 12…
Protect and Serve was originally expected to be released sometime in 2014… Soooooo… be patient. However looking at Ebay and the set Disney Store have released couple months ago now… the short maybe just around the corner… But which corner ??? 😉
