The final Ice Racers singles have been finalized.
Ice Racer Francesco.
Ice Racer Lightning McQueen.
Ice Racer Raoul Caroule
Ice Racer Miguel Camino.
All 11 World Grand Prix racers are listed (including Rip) + a 12th racer since this Toon is set in Russia: Vitaly Petrov, the Russia Racer – only available as a Super Chase back in 2012.
Of course, it’ll have the Ice Racer look, paint and wash like the others above.
It looks like this Toon and the diecasts are scheduled for Spring 2015.

I have to admit that these have grown on me. Maybe it’s the six-months-of-snow Winnipegger in me. But what’s the reason to wait until Spring 2015? These should be a Christmas-timed release, no?

Do you suppose that with sidelines featuring Shu’s homebase race being neon and Vitaly’s being ice that we can anticipate a Running With the Bulls-themed race for Miguel Camino or something related to the Autobahn for Max Schnell?
That’s pretty cool that Rip will be included in the Ice Racers tale. FWIW, the story about the ice race in Russia (hosted by Vitaly Petrov) is referenced in the newest version of the Disney Christmas Storybook Collection.

Look really great design, oddly francesco is my favorite here?
Will pick up the ‘new’ racer and couple for my son but will just wait till on sale to collect rest of set like i did with neons, surley missing a trick not having these out for xmas?
What would be cool is if these were like color changers….look “regular” when warm but change to the “icy” look when cold.
