Mattel Disney Planes: One More Repeating Box Set

This box set is a few dollars short and a year too late.

So, if you just starting to collecting Planes, this is a decent set … for everyone else, not so much.

I can find any plane from this series of planes at just about any store I go to. The only plane that sold well and is hard to find is Franz fleigenhosen, other than that blah.

Awesome. Can you help me out with:

      Tsubasa
      Sun Wing
      Jan Kowalski
      Yellow Bird
      Antonio Pit Row Gift Set

BTW, just because Franz was not released in the numbers of the other characters does not mean it sold well. You think the number of Franz’s sold compared to Racing Dusty is even close?

You don’t like planes, we get it. You post in every one of these updates. No one cares what you like, don’t like. The world doesn’t revolve around you. If Planes was such a failure then why make a sequel?

Cars 3 will come out soon and Radiator Springs 500 1/2 toys just hit shelves. Quiet down.

I DID find a Sun Wing single at WM… Only Wave 3 single I’ve been able to find…

  • RRichie09 says:

Genius! Make us buy two planes everyone has to get sun wing.

Am I the only one that thinks mattel has a warehouse full of dusty, bdog, and chug that they need to sell somehow?

They must visit stores to check the waters so to speak.

Note: I mentioned chug because he is being re-released in the fire & rescue line.

They just have to remember to always include 1 or 2 characters everyone is certain to already have multiples of.

  • Momoe says:

Who gets paid to come up with these lame merchandising strategies, seriously?!?

Do they just toss balls of crumpled paper into character-labeled trash bins lor simply roll Planes dice?
