In his recently-released book Creativity, Inc.: Overcoming the Unseen Forces That Stand in the Way of True Inspiration, Pixar co-founder Ed Catmull writes that Lucas nearly sold Pixar to the automaking giant, along with Dutch technology company Phillips.
