Disney Planes Fire & Rescue – Disney Store Dipper & Firefighter Dusty

“John H.” sends us a nice preview of Disney Store’s “Dipper.”

Dipper looks a little small but we won’t know for certain until the movie comes out.

She is heayweight diecast metal.

I think these are hydrofoils?  They are actually taped on. A little odd – presumably these are plastic?

Looks nice – here’s Pontoon Dusty & Firefighter Dusty also.

Based on her eyes, I’d say Dipper’s been dippin’ into some illegal substances.

The tape probably holds the wings floats in the down position for packing and shipping, they are able to be folded up for the “in flight” mode, correct?

    • John says:

Yes. The photo was meant to illustrate the packing tape that holds the pontoons up during shipping. I thought that collectors that don’t open their cases might not remove this tape. The tape looks like it will attack the lettering if left on too long and should be removed as soon as possible.

All of our 2013 Disney Store Planes have had their soft plastic landing gear collapse under the weight of the heavy metal models. We take the Planes out of the cases and set them on their wheels. It looks like the 2014 Planes from Disney Store have wheels with more supportive designs.
