Mattel DreamWorks Turbo: Consolidated Before Opening

This is a first, it’s pretty rare to find parts of a line at consolidators/discounters BEFORE the film opens … “John H.” found this at Marshall’s a few days ago …

turbo

I think Turbo opens today. Good luck!

Can’t believe anyone would pay money to see this movie or buy these toys.

I believe these launchers were made to be sold at those kinds of stores so I think everyone should calm down a little…it’s not like they brought them from another store.

I haven’t picked up any of these – but in the 2 targets that have endcaps I saw them in, they appear to have sold decently. I think one had barely anything left one of the days I stopped in there.

Kids want to play with snails? Really?

When I was young we’d pour salt on slugs… but that was as far as I went.

    Play with cars – Yes!
    Play with planes – Yes!
Play with army toys – Yes!

Play with snails – the silence you hear is from crickets that fell asleep and are too tired to make noise.

My Target has an entire endcap of these (right next to the Cars aisle) and since two weeks ago when I first found it, about 5 of the snail 2-packs have sold.

Walmart has had no signs of getting these in. Good riddance. I still don’t see why people would want these, but I guess this is what Hot Wheels people were thinking about when they were hearing about Cars diecasts.

I found the same thing yesterday in a Marshall’s in Maryland.

Relax all of you. Just saw the movie last night with the kids and they thoroughly enjoyed it. I was surprised by it as well. And yes, the kids were pumped by the planes adverstisements as well. So relax with this “Holier than thou” attitude by some of you. LOL. Its just toys.
