Disney Theme Parks Merchandise Ordering

For CARS fans, it’s been a busy couple months for EXCLUSIVES only available at the theme parks – first the Star Wars CARS …

SW CARS1

SW2

And now the two Time Travel Mater Box Sets – Radiator Springs Beginnings …

beginnings

And the (Lizzie & Stanley) Wedding Day Gift Pack.

Wedding Day Box

The Star Wars CARS are $9.95 each and the box sets are $44.95 and $34.95 before taxes.

Each theme park has up a few dozen stores that might carry a product line (most retail stores are park are theme based) – some are outside the park (no pass required) while others are inside the park (pass or gate admission) so unless you have a season pass to get inside the park, you might be out of luck as the store(s) outside the gates might be out but the inside stores still have stock.

For instance, as of today, the Time Travel Mater box sets are not available by phone but there are plenty of them on the shelves inside the park (and reports of another truck coming).

So, if you don’t live in SoCal or Orlando and you don’t have a season pass?

HOW TO ORDER

They are NOT available online. The Disney Theme Parks group does NOT have an ecommerce website. To order DIRECT from the Theme Park Group …

Call 1-877-560-6477 forΒ  those in the US and 407-934-6111 for those calling internationally. Don’t forget to add the international call prefix & the USA country code.

OR you can email an order to Merchandise.Guest.Services@DisneyParks.com (and if you have a customer service question) or fax 407-828-2000 with the following information: Item list, name, phone number, billing address, shipping address, email or contact info, and credit card information with expiration date. It is generally considered unsafe to EMAIL your credit card info so call or fax your order in.

Now, some items are not always available – it will vary from day to day and week to week. If you cannot or do not want to wait …

There is eBay.

Of course, you may not win the auction or the BIN price is too high.

There is our TRADING/BUYING Forum – totally free – post your needs for buying or trading and hopefully, you will find a match. Show me Disneyland CARS!

There is also a third alternative – a website called Disney World Personal Shopper.com – I have never used their services but they look like they’ve been in business for a while and since you pay with Paypal – you are protected for your purchases. They charge a 30% handling fee ($8 minimum) plus shipping. It seems like a good way to go as if you are picky, you can give them extra instructions if you want a minty box or something like that. They also have a Facebook page with a lot of photos so if you are a Disneyana collector, there are lots of other fun things. On the website is their email address and phone. If you give them a try, let us know what you think.

Note – they are NOT Disney employees but a third party business.

Good luck and happy exclusive shopping!

UPDATE – “Danrio” called Disney Parks yesterday.Β  They are once again taking live orders for the Time Travel Mater Sets!

Can you order the last Star Wars wave from the Disney Parks Store now?

  • brianmc4745 says:

Fortunately my sister works for Disney world, I got 5 of each of these at twenty percent off.

  • stormcooper says:

I just wish Disney Parks took as much care in shipping as Disney Stores do… I wasn’t crazy about how “shoved in there” all of my Cars were. And when I called to complain about bent packaging, customer service all but said “oh well.”

I was just at Disneyland/California Adventures over the weekend and the Star Wars Cars we’re nearly sold out. Both parks only had limited stock of Princess Leia (Sally) and Yoda (Fillmore) everything else was long gone. I asked if these were retired or just sold out but the woman working behind the counter didn’t know much of anything, let alone details on the die cast cars. So, I hope more will be headed to the parks later this year as I still need Lightning Luke.

Was in CA for D23 and was hoping to find Darth and Luke and had tried almost every day of the convention with no luck. Finally, on Monday the 12th we had checked out of our hotel and went to the park to kill some time before our flight home. Low and behold we come off of Star Tours ride into the store and on an end cap their was all six of the cars. Could only carry three cars since my bags where already packed so I picked up (2) Darth and (1) Luke to complete my set. Cast member stated that they had just got them in that morning. Sometime its nice to have a little luck.

I just called today and ordered all six set of the Star Wars cars, UPS ground was $14.95. There was a few minutes wait on hold – which was a silent hold with a “Thanks for holding” message every minute – but once a CS person answered the order process went quick and easily.

  • law6cpiggy says:

I was able to order the star wars cars via the phone number yesterday. The connection was horrible, but I was able to get all six. However, she said there was no discount for d23 members and that I could not use the friends and family coupon on a mail order.

  • jeaks says:

Being overseas I used the services of Disney World Personal Shopper.com. Great service and got the items. Highly recommend to overseas people. I paid money upfront so she knew i was fair dinkum and not going to end up with an item in the event i changed my mind and i had no problem doing this. Lovely lady who went a hunting and boy did she go a hunting until finally she found them. Great service and the commission is a small price to pay.

  • Mara says:

I keep calling and keep being told that they aren’t selling them over the phone. I’m going to try and email them.

  • Lorri says:

I got mine yesterday, Wedding Day Lizzie is so cute! also the time travel set looks way better in person.

  • slicepie says:

Just placed a phone order and they are currently only taking orders for the Wedding Day set. Also, I don’t know if it’s been noted by anyone else but the Free D23 Membership gives a 10% discount on the order.

  • PixarPost says:

Woo Hoo – I ordered the Star Wars cars on June 13 and I received them yesterday (July 12) – they were packaged really well and the cars all look great! πŸ™‚

  • ksammut says:

I just placed a phone order for 3 Time Travel sets. Looks like they are accepting orders again. The person on the phone told me we should be receiving our Star Wars order as it was shipped yesterday.

I just called and no problem ordering them…also FYI, if you have a Disney Visa card you get 10% off. Still kinda pricey, but look totally cool!

  • Mara says:

I’m still waiting for my Star Wars cars back order from June 10th to be filled and have had no luck ordering the Time Travel Mater sets.

    • Mara says:

Just checked and my Star Wars cars are getting ready for shipment, yay! Also sounds like they are waiting for more Time Travel mater sets to come in before they start taking more phone orders.

  • rjrusk says:

Just tried to place an order for the Mater sets this morning. The very nice customer service person reaffirmed that they’d stop taking orders last week. When I told her that someone had successfully placed an order yesterday, she put me on hold to verify and then came back to say, “Not sure who he talked to but I can assure you we’re no longer taking orders for those items.” Bummer!

(MET: Don’t give up! Try, try, try again …).

  • Sith77 says:

Hey guys. New to the site. Love all the info on here. Thank you for sharing. Thought I was going to have to pay eBay prices. Got the Star Wars cars ordered yesterday. This site will now be a daily visit. Thanks again

  • jestrjef says:

Great to hear that it SEEMs Disney is getting these lined up for everyone. Got mine yesterday and they are BEAUTIFUL!!

  • LUCA says:

Also i need the Star wars cars.. πŸ™

  • Tmremote says:

I just called to order the box sets. They wont even let me backorder them. Sigh…ordering on this hotline is such a mess.

(MET: As Danrio noted, the situation seems to change from day to day if not hour to hour so either call again in a while or try the email – just don’t give out your CC info, but maybe you can get in an order and say you’ll call in with a CC info or they can call you … and maybe the fax might work also. good luck!)

    • danrio says:

Sorry if I misled anyone. This situation must change from day to day. I had called Parks Merchandising every day since LAST Tuesday and, until yesterday, I was told no back orders. I called around noon, Pacific Time, yesterday and the operator, after spending 5 minutes checking, said i could place an order for Time Travel Mater merchandise on hand. I was given an order confirmation number covering one of each set. Except for timing, it’s puzzling how it changes so quickly! It could come down to the alignment of the sun and the moon! Try what I did and call every day, if you can.

I actually got a call from them late last week to tell me my back order from last Monday that was on the wish list was available to fill and the lady took my CC info over the phone. Yes, its quite dynamic. They did a count and started to fill the wish lists in order of received.

        • materrocks says:

          Thornton, CO
I also received a call and the lady also took my credit card info–I guess it’s all in the works now and should be receiving them soon.

  • bobbyjack says:

If my kids were still into Cars, I wouldn’t hesitate to get the Raditor Springs Beginnings sets. But yesterday, they just weren’t excited about getting Ivan. Kind of sad. I’m thinking the Convoy Brothers might be our last big Cars purchase. Maybe an occasional single or deluxe. They seem to be excited about Planes right now, but how long will that last?
