Mattel Disney Pixar CARS Diecast: Kmart Free Ivan Offer Now LIVE

The Kmart Free Ivan Deluxe Diecast Offer is now LIVE!

Buy $20 worth of Mattel Disney Pixar products (Mattel products! $20 Before TAXES)!

Kmart GWP Cars 2013 (FINAL)

Then go to www.Mattel.com/KMCars to begin your redemption process.

Before you begin, there’s even better news – ZERO postage & handling fees! Nice!

AND NO UPC’s to mail in so all you need is proof you bought $20 worth of Mattel Disney Pixar CARS products (before taxes) and you are set!

The first screen asks you to enter in the number of Ivan’s you are redeeming.

John in MO says they are okay with doing math (ie: every $20 on your Kmart receipt of Mattel CARS products nets you one free Ivan).

In Mattel’s words … You must purchase at least $20 (twenty dollars) (minimum amount must be met before taxes) of any Disney·Pixar Cars toy products from Mattel on one receipt within the promotional period.

Order1

It looks like they will not start mailing out Ivan’s until the end of June – or at least that is what they are saying – they might start mailing them out tomorrow so it might just be a wild estimate so they can overdeliver so if you get it in 2 weeks, you are still happy.

Page #2 asks you to fill out your address (not shown here).

Page #3 shows they are not charging for P&H – nice! Order2

The East Aurora address is the place to mail your receipts and your personal form. Note disclaimers and due date of receipts and form.

Order3

When you click to PRINT, you will get this sheet below with your own barcode so they can match it up. Note, you need to tape the address with the barcode on the outside of your envelope.

Order 4

So, you can send up to 10 receipts/redemption offers in ONE ENVELOPE. If for some reason, you need another 10, you will need another address as it’s 10 per household.

“Toomsterev” also found these legal disclaimers …

“3. Receive a Disney·Pixar Cars Ivan vehicle by mail in 8 – 12 weeks. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute an item of equal or greater value, should it become necessary.

Damage to the blister card packaging will not be considered a defect to the product, and thus replacements will not be provided.”

Good luck! Send us a pic when you get yours. It sounds like it should arrive on a card.

Also note – Kmart receipts only – no Kmart.com receipts.

Just to make sure, so I can buy $60 in 1 receipt on Cars items and get me 3 Ivans, correct?

  • jestrjef says:

Just thought I would see if others are getting an email from Mattel saying these have been back ordered until 6/30. I thought it was nice to get some sort of email from Mattel, but that made me nervous :–/

The link here is down but I typed it into my browser w/o caps and it worked fine

This is what I did at my Kmart this afternoon. Luckily there was 2 deluxe cars there at $7.99 each-2 x $7.99=15.98. They also had some old singles at $3.59 each- 2 x 3.59 = 7.18. So, $15.98 + $7.18 = $23.16. The deluxe one I was able to get were Dustin Mellows and Elvis RV. I already purchase Francesco fan mater and materhosen earlier in the week. I am so set. I was able to order my Ivan just about 20 minutes ago with no problems. Only thing is, you have to wait till June 30th–says on back order. Scary.

The order form link appears to be down again at the moment. Hopefully it will pop back up soon, since I found a fresh case restock this morning and now have a valid receipt.

  • danheas says:

What happens if you send in the cash register receipt with the offer, but return things with the emailed receipt (if part of the rewards program). Is there any checking with the store that items haven’t been returned?

  • danrio says:

Although it may be a moot point for most buyers, I noticed one “fine print” discrepancy. In the poster at the top of this article, the fine print reads “Purchase requirement calculated before taxes and after other discounts”. The order form mentions only the “before taxes” stipulation, but not the “other discounts”.
I’m not sure, at this point, what those “other discounts” might be, but be aware.

    • John in Missouri says:

That’s what scares me about this offer, mostly because it seens like EVERYTHING is on sale until July 8. I hope they don’t calculate everything based on MSRP.

  • L8rM8r says:

Walked into the local Kmart and nothing on the pegs for the oversized. Oh well will keep looking

  • Tracer says:

Drove 30 miles to nearest Kmart, no Elvis RV, or Fan Mater, just Dustin Mellow and Materhosen. Not a total loss though, scored a Cartney Brakin 🙂

  • Bumper Save says:

I’m getting a 403 Forbidden error both on the link here and direct from the Mattel Cars page. Maybe they ran out? Which would suck because I have a receipt right here…

(MET: Seems to be okay now).

    • John in Missouri says:

Nah, keep trying. They can’t run out until orders start physically rolling in, and even when they do run out, they will send you something else of equal value.

  • Lightyear says:

So did anybody get the Free poster today? My Kmart knew nothing about it. I’m pretty sure that it comes with Ivan by mail as the offer states, but Met seemed to say that they may be handing them out in the store today?

  • brittanycenter2007 says:

Weird, I sent my husband to go return the cars I just bought two days ago so that he could repurchase them, well he went to a different store (one that was closer to us) and the cars were ringing up as $4 when he repurchased them so I had him ask an employee if they had gotten a case in at that store since there were none on the shelf and she told my husband no that that was a clearance item and they sent theirs off to other stores…… I wonder if that means that location is closing?

(MET: Sounds like it might be a clue. :-/ ).

  • John in Missouri says:

    Two More Thoughts…

    1) make sure the store you stop at is on their “approved” list;

    and

    2) make sure you buy MATTEL products! I started to put a Fisher Price item in my cart before I caught my mistake.

  • quercy says:

I just wish I can have something to buy…. There is no megasize at my store yet…. or someone earlier get them all ! 🙁

  • Otis the Lemon says:

I was able to return my Cars no problem.

I went before I saw the update, so I split the purchases up. Just gotta drop this in the mail and wait.

  • John in Missouri says:

I just called Mattel Customer Service and was pleasantly surprised that the person I spoke with knew about the Ivan offer right away. She did have to place me on hold to check on this question, but she came back to verify that you just need ONE receipt with at least $20, $40, $60, or whatever amount you need to match your online order form.

In addition, I failed to print the page with the 7-digit bar code last night, but she told me that the email I received this morning with the case number was all I needed to submit my order, as long as I included that case number with my mailed-in form.

(MET: Interesting, free postage/handling and they’ll do math for you! What a wonderful world! Cue Louie Armstrong! 🙂 ).

    • Micky says:

Thanks John. I left the house this morning before seeing your update. I went to Kmart this morning to return the Cars I bought last week and re-buy them today. I didn’t have a problem doing that. Just in case, when I re-bought the Cars, I split it into 2 sales receipts. I just printed the order form so I’ll be mailing that off today.

Second part of my question is…can I print another order form if I purchase more Cars? If I’m lucky enough to find another case, I’d like to order another Ivan.

(MET: You are definitely allowed 10 per household, it’s hard to tell if it’s sophisticated to track all purchases over the lifetime of this offer so if you ultimately buy 15? Personally, I’d feel safer sending the last 5 to another address but maybe that’s just me. 🙂 ).

  • brittanycenter2007 says:

Has anyone that bought the cars early had any problems returning them then repurchasing them?

    • Micky says:

      No problem here.

    • Lightyear says:

      Nope,
I just told them I wanted to return them then actually rebuy them. She didn’t have a problem, asking me if they were now on sale. I told her no that I just wanted to take part in a promotion that starts today. She was then worried that she didn’t know about it, and I told her it was a Mattel promotion and that she doesn’t have to do anything. She was relieved.

  • Lightyear says:

Is the poster supposed to be handed out in store or is it included with the Ivan by mail? I read that the poster is included with the Ivan by mail, yet there has been talk that you get the poster in store? Just want to know what I’m supposed to be looking for when dealing with customer service today. Thanks

  • bobbyjack says:

Printed my order form out…now to just find Francesco Fan Mater and Materhosen!

  • collectormom says:

We picked the wrong time to be stationed in Germany! Going to have to try to find it on eBay or Amazon, along with the 2 new Maters

  • John in Missouri says:

How sure are we about the $20 per receipt thing? When I went to the link last night, I thought it could be read both ways.

    • Micky says:

I have the same question. Do you need one $20.00 receipt for each Ivan or can you get a $40.00 receipt for 2 Ivan’s? Also, once you print out a form, can you go back and print out another form as long as it’s 10 or less?

      • Mike Manifold says:

You could easily do more than one transaction, to get more than one receipt, during just one visit to Kmart, just to be safe.
The online order form has a “quantity” field that you can change (from 1 to 10) before you actually e-submit and print out the order form. Once you e-submit the order form you will get a confirmation email from Mattel that reminds you to mail in the order form with the receipt from KMart.
