Well I guess I am in the minority but not a big fan of this same racers with metallic finish line. I would prefer different characters instead.
I bought the first two but this one doesn’t look much different than the regular one.
Oh well. Still waiting for the Pope case. Darn I wish we would get some more Final laps and crew chiefs too. I miss those lines. 🙁
I’m right there with ya. While I’ll definitely pick up this Nigel, it’s a sad state of affairs when the only thing to get excited about is just another variation of a car that we’ve had since day one.
Ha! After scouring the pegs at the Tukwila TRU this morning I figured Nigel just hadn’t made it to Seattle yet but low & behold on the bottom shelf wedged between the last three Everett transporters… A little shiny metallic green car was spotted! Nice try whoever tried to save it for later! My son says “Thanks”! They surely would have been sold by the time we got there today!

Aw man, they need to keep these guys coming. I have McQueen and Jeff sitting in the package on a shelf in my son’s room. Going to add Nigel when I find him. It would be fun to add a new one every month or so. I hope Nigel is not the last one.
I have heard many complains about quality of paint, but I must say- it is really good nice quality paint. I got few of those, and could not find any major flows, so GOOD LUCK!!!!
I looked at the 3 Jeff Gorvettes that were on the peg and they all had bad paint. I picked the one that had the best looking bad paint.
That was my experience on the Gorvette Metallics. Not well painted, and not one I examined was great. I looked at 2 cases worth, 12. Still looking for a better one. Gold exclusive Mcqueen in the DVD set was good but not exceptional.
I am hoping the factory that produces the TRU exclusives fixed their painting issues and we all get a exceptional Nigel.

outstanding work, with the smoothest deep purple-blue paint. Just a beautifully painted car.
