Mattel Disney Pixar CARS 2 Diecast: Lights & Sound Checklist & Next
The Lights & Sounds 1:55 are nicely done – each with many phrases and cool lights.
These are out now – Spy Mater is a Walmart exclusive.
Rod Redline Torque is also out – though not pictured – and the rest scheduled for Year 1: Lights & Sounds CARS 2 – in probable order of release.

Looking forward to the larger ones and ones only availible as l and s , but sarges button is so noticeable.
I wonder …. how are the going to cram 3 little batteries in Prof. Z’s undercarraige?? It would serve him right for the bad things he has done! I think he will end up the way of Francesco … Prof. Z on CARroids so the batteries will fit. 😆
Did you notice that the Action Agent Professor Z is the same size as the 1:55 version?
Aw, I’m not gonna spend my money on those.
I have got the big talking Cars from back in 2007 and they are on top of my closet still in sealed boxes,so no one can touch them.
But I think this works on the nerves of the Cars cause once in A while some of them just start talking!
Scared the hell out of me the first time,not knowing they did this.
I heared A voice in the distance while watching A movie and I really thought someone was in my house,since I life alone,my heart was pumping as I checked the house.
Took about 15 minutes untill I heard it again,convincing me their really was someone else in my house.
Obviously there was no one else,but this was freaky,lucky for my Chick said something at the moment I was pretty close to the Cars!I was really surprised and did not even remember they talked.
So I observed them for about ten minutes and yes even Doc had something to say,putting my mind to rest about someone being in the house.
But I was very fascinated by this,so I took all my toys that have sort of voice control and displayed them all in working mode.
And unbelievable other toys seem to have this too once in A while,like A big talking Sin City Bruce Willis I got he starts talking at various moments without anybody touching him or his talking button!!
Has anyone had something like that happen with talking toys and can anyone explain this?

Maybe it means the toys are bored and want somebody to play with them…

Our spy mater had a malfunction a few days ago and will only emit a high pitched noise now. These are my sons all time favorite.

In the movie the adding of lights is by far the coolest change to McQueen,giving him so much more options for the future,love to see A TRON version!!
By the way has anyone seen the movie frame by frame yet for further analyses?
I can’t wait for Rod Redline, Sarge, Fillmore, Miles Axlerod, and Professor Z to come out in my area!

So far we only have Spy Finn and Spy Mater. We will be adding Race Team Sarge to the mix. Was wondering when we would get a Sarge with headphones!
I hope we get them too. I don’t care for lights and sounds. Not going all the way, a bit too much for my tight budget.
The Lights and Sounds 1:55 scale are my favorite Cars2 products so far… my grandchildren like them also.
Besides the racers, I agree with ya Chris. I just hope that someday this technology makes it way back to C1 cars like the Tunerz. Imagine all of these cars with lights being able to recreate this scene:

These are great, but now I have to go make sure I have spy Mater. Here I thought I had all but finn.

the kids dig ’em. plus with the extra parts inside they are more solid cars. francesco is indeed out of scale but was part of the 4 pack at target (which was the best deal). my 5yr old discovered that if you hold down the button the lights stay on. the only bad part? i think all the other mcqueens are going to end up with broken back windows (the 2yr olds are still trying to figure out which ones talk)

We skipped Bernoulli since it isn’t 1:55. Hopefully the rest upcoming are to scale.
It looks from the pics like Professor Z is considerably larger than the 1:55 “die-cast” (quotes used because these are mostly plastic anymore) one.
I’m pretty sure that photo is out of scale.
