Mattel Disney Pixar Diecast CARS: Final Final Lap List for 2010

This looks like the list of Final Lap releases for 2010 AS SINGLES.

Now this list is NOT a case assortment nor is there any indication how many cases these will appear in but it’s at least 2 and maybe 3 but most likely, these 11 are released (or re-released) in the next two cases.

The re-releases are mostly recent ones …

Plus 6 new releases including …

Marilyn

Milo F

Timothy Timezone

Valerie Veate

Duff Wrecks M

Jon Wrenchworth

This should take us into 2011 but hopefully, one other shipment might sneak in before our calendar 2010 is over. πŸ™‚

One note of interest, if you read yesterday’s post (YOU DID read yesterday’s post, right? Β  πŸ˜›Β  ), it looks like lenticular Tim Rimmer is coming soon but Tim Rimmer is not on this list … so put Tim Rimmer in the column of one of the mystery Target 9-pack CARS?

    Totally random coolness

OH MY I just caught the license plate on jonathon wrenchworks.

I collect cars in memory of my son who died 11/18/93 at 15 weeks and I originally bought them for a birthday party at the cemetary in 2006.

Now I love them and continue to collect.

    The bizareness of this is:

My mum’s name is Charlotte and she’s always gone by charlie. My dad’s name is Tex, I first found tex the car a couple months after my dad died.

Than out came fauxwheel drive our last name is Foxhill.

NOW this license plate has Emile my oldest brother’s name. And lighting is played by Owen wilson, my middle brother’s name is Owen.

I am so excited and will definitely have to send my brother this car.

Visited a Target this afternoon and found no new Final Laps but I did score a Corporal Kim so it wasn’t a total loss.

  • JMBoost says:

Well so far today I have checked out 5 stores inc TRU and found…… Nothing! One store has had a empty shelf where the cars go for over two weeks now! I even took a Cars box down from on top of the shelving (not for customers to look in) and all it had in was Lightning & King lenticulars! Tons of them!!!

One day, just one new Car may turn up ( but I won’t hold my breath!)

  • Man-I-Fold says:

I’m very excited about Jonathan Wrenchworths! Love the rusty Cars. My son has repeatedly asked about a Rust-Eze tent and Dinoco tent β€œto play with.” Does anybody have any good leads on modeling type tents that could be used to make one?

  • BMW says:

    tim rimmer tabloid photographer
    dash boardman photographer
    Hooman press car with camera
    Houser Boon photographer

Could these be in the mystery 9 pack besides Tim Rimmer that Met mentions?

    • cac1959 says:

Lots of interesting posts… and if the camera Cars BMW mentions are in this 9 pack, it could be a very interesting 9 pack…

Good luck finding all the new Cars that are mentioned in the post as well as those mentioned in comments…

  • Indykjt says:

    Can’t wait to get these…

and the Kmart day 5 Cars…

and the new mysterious 9 pack…

and the new new toon megasize (beanie hat mater, i-screamer, Tokyo Mater w/oil stains, tormentor’s biggest fan)…

and the new mega size (stu bop & Brian Souvenir Seller)…

    and the new Christmas Cars…

and the Mater’s Tall Tales DVD!!!

Did I miss any??? πŸ™‚ AND why is it that one of the upcoming final lap cars I am most excited about is Duff Wrecks, a plain white pickup truck???

    • Carlos says:

Yeah, I’m like that too. He’s my favorite of the list. Maybe it’s because I don’t care for the others too much. Jonathan is a close second behind Duff, and Timothy Timezone is 3rd after. Fourth, and the only other I like is Milo. The other two I can pass. Usually I hate things plain and simple, but, I like it here.

  • Bombero1956 says:

I like the list showing what’s left in the Final Laps series but I wish there was a breakdown on which cases these will be in. In these parts we’re finally seeing the case H cars but with that idiot that bends the cardbacks visiting all 3 Targets within easy driving distance finding decent cars to buy is difficult. I’ve tried complaining but nobody seems to give a rats hind quarters.

    • Wraukn says:

I have one of those “benders” in my area too. Drives me nuts!

      • Uncle Skip says:

While I do know of these “benders” and have actually had to take care of some in my stores over the years, I am not so sure that all the Final Laps you are seeing are from a bender (if it is just the Final Laps you are seeing bent)…

I search 5 different Targets and have seen a lot of Fresh out of the storeroom, box tape cut in front of me or by me cases of Final Laps over the past few months… I would venture to say that on average well over 50% of these have had bent up, curved, damaged packaging on most if not all all cars in the case. As we are openers, these never bother us.

Many of these look like the work of a bender, but wen looking in other departments, I see no other evidence of bending… I just think this is poor quality control in packaging these things…

Or you may have a ridiculous bender in your stores… to that I say… takle to the ground, hit hard, aim low…

  • JMBoost says:

Well that’s me off out hunting on Monday! So many new ones to try and find……

  • jambouk says:

Just noticed…..NO CRASHED HUDSON HORNED? PLEASE NO!

  • jambouk says:

Thanks to jammywin i think we will be searching disney store UK for these.
At least until the end of 2010, and hopefully the rubber tyre racers.
    (tires for our US friends).

  • I-am-speed says:

Gotta love those fins on Timothy Timezone!

  • Chris with tray says:

So, no Lizzie? Yer breaking my heart.

  • PirateDad says:

SWEET bring them on….NO MORE GOOGLEY EYES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Carlos says:

First! Anyway, what happened to the others not on the list? And, please, Johnny, Jamie, Jay, and Marlon are pegwarmers here. On a side note, at all my Targets, no singles period. No FL, no lents. I would’ve prefered some other 2 cars like Derek “Decals” Dobbs and Percy Handbrake over Marilyn and Valerie Veate, though, all are welcome. And happy to see Duff Wrecks and Jonathan Wrenchworths. Those are 2 I’m very excited about. Also, what happened to Kit Revster and Wilmar Flatts?

(MET: This appears to be the singles list for 2010 – so there’s still 4-5 months in 2011 before CARS2 CARS will start arriving … plus the Target 9-pack … presumably there will be enough new CARS to entice some with a bunch of repeats πŸ™‚ ).

    • Fillmore1234 says:

found some sweet pics of Cars Toons on Toywiz. Have seen some of these on take5, but some have better pics: http://www.toywiz.com/carstoons.html

      6. Dr. Abschlepp Wagen #38
      7. Big Fan #15
      8. Drift Party Mater #30
      SWEET!!!!!!!

      • Carlos says:

Nice! I’ll be on the look out. Hope they will still make Cars from the original movie as well, or instead of Toons.

      • Stig McQueen says:

Managed to find Stripped Kabuto, Komodo and Dr. Abschlepwagen at my local TRU recently. They had Kyandee, too, but I left those on the pegs.

(BTW, I have to concede that “Dr. Abschlepwagen” is correct; turns out that *is* the German word for “tow truck!” So I was half-right, anyway…)

        • Fillmore1234 says:

Cool! There is one fact that can clear things up. I guess the real Dr. Abschlepp Wagen is a tow truck too!

I’m also a Toywiz dood, so if anyone needs a pic, a good one is usually there! They say Toywiz is the #1 online seller of Cars toys! They have the McDonalds Cars for sale too, if anyone needs one… but the lowest price is $8.99 I think, sooo I won’t be getting one there.

    • jambouk says:

MET do we have an official release date for CARS 2?

Also how soon before the film is out can we expect to see CARS2 toys on the shelf.
      Thanks
      James.

      • Fillmore1234 says:

Ohh, I wouldn’t give an exact date for when the Cars hit the shelves, but the movie is on June 24, 2011 I think. (Sweet B-Day present) So that pretty much leads me to believe that the Cars would come around… maybe… 2 weeks before the movie? Dunno.
