Kmart sent me an email last night confirming my order on May 17. Still no update on Kmart.com. ❓
Can’t wait for K-mart cars day 4. I’ll finally have a chance to add transberry juice and gasprin to my cars collection.
A new car has taken over the number one spot from Kday one cars, let me reintroduce you to (drum roll)…… VIEW ZEEN, yes yes. View Zeen is now the best car (on ebay $$$) from the first 5 race car set from Kday one.
Transberry lost his place on top, sorry, this set also dropped to about half what it use to sell for.. lol I love it!
Cars are for kids, not greedy adults.

My family is very excited about this, as we missed the first few years of Cars toys – er… collectibles, and missed all of the previous KMart days. Transberry and Heavy-Concentration-Dale Jr. will make their first appearance in our house for this. Will have to postpone revealing the classic-eye Race Official Tom I had ready for Christmas, since my son is extremely excited to buy him from this case. That’s ok, I’m sure classic Tom will be appreciated sometime between 5th and 10th birthdays.

(MET: It’s actually the Kmart winner case but since the drawing isn’t until Saturday and by then or Monday, the purchased sealed cases will arrive so winner will get a sealed case 🙂 ).

I wish I could get as excited about this as everyone else seems to be, but we already have all of these cars. Maybe not with rubber wheels or googley eyes, but I’m not buying duplicates for minor differences.
COULD NOT AGREE MORE. This is such a disappointment. My family has little to no interest.
The ONLY car we don’t have is Transberry Juice.
This is just the latest let-down for the Cars lovers & collectors. I have to say my daughter is turning 8 and has really lost interest because of the last six months or so.

Since the NEAREST K-mart is a 30 minute drive, I called the store to verify the Pixar event.
The store employee who answered the phone knew NOTHING – did not know about up coming event?
Talked with Manager who knew about event but, said had not seen any cases yet and still WAITING for “CARS” event shipment to arrive!?!
I will be taking my 5 year old Son to event on Saturday.
Hopefully we will be able to get 2x sets of the exclusives – one to open and one to keep for his collection!? This store ONLY gets one master box for each event – which means ONLY 16x sets available at this store.
Sure would be nice ( and a smart financial move) to see other Pixar related items available for sale at the event?!
I never understood why the stores do not stock-up and bring in MORE other related items to sell at these events to boost sales???
I’m still waiting for my shipping confirmation e-mail… I can’t wait until the event… I’m more excited than I was as a young boy as it got closer to Christmas and wondering what Santa was going to bring me…
