I went to Target on Union Avenue (Tacoma, WA) today and asked about the lack of Final Laps. There were five McQ’s and one Hicks on the pegs. The clerk checked and brought out the remaining Cars from the stockroom. They were from Case E, including the Sheriff, Vern, Jay etc. We had the customary discussion concerning the lousy re-ordering/computer process. Of course, if you do not even peg the sought after Cars, how in the @#$% can you expect to get the next case assortment ordered! Is this the way to sell toys? Not!
Just found Jamie, Johnny , & McQueen with cone at 1 Target here in Pcola. Won’t see any of the newer cases until the oil is out of the Gulf. At least it is what it seems like We are so far behind. Good thing for Kmart days! Did see several Octane Gain Team sets at Target also if anyone needs them.
Spotted a number of lenticular LMQs with shovel at the “local” TRU last Sunday. Almost took one home, but I just wasn’t all that jazzed about it.
Why is Artie modeled as a 4-door sedan, when in the movie he was obviously a 2-door coupe of the same apparent body style as Snot Rod?
never saw “E” but tons of “f” at my bullseyes in chitown burbs. Go Hawks!
Good news for UK collectors the following have been spotted in asda:
McQueen with shovel
Flo with tray
and countless van with stickers… WITH STICKERS!
Theres probably more but I wasnt actually there to raid the box so I don’t know what case it was either.

Really that’s the only one I’m missing… should’ve bought it when I had him on my hand.. but no… “He’ll be in every case… pick him up later…[laughs & buys Polly & Richter?? Forgot his name… ] Stupid FL limited release 🙁

It would be neat if the 4 M named cars were released together.
Maybe Marilyn will be in H with Marlon, Matthew, Matti, and Marty. That would be cool.

Thanks Met for the Speculative Candidates, I was wondering what might be in Case H also, in my spiral I keep a running list of FL newbies from your post (in pencil of course).
In your post of 5-12-10 it was looking likely Case G could be Artie, Bert, Flo w/Tray and LM w/Shuvel – now Case H might be maybe possibly Matti, Mathew, and Marlin.
All definite must have’s!
Second! Marty Brakeburst was also seen carded. I hope we can get G, H, and even J around June/July. And K in August. Dexter w/ Green Flag can also go on the list, since we’ve seen him as lenticular as a single. It’s been out for a while. Can’t wait for these.

I love the racing fan cars; were there any fan cars released before, besides Polly Puddlejumper? These are cool characters, but with all of the new lenticular releases on singles and packs, I’m beginning to feel happy at the sight of ANY static-eye character. I’m so glad Toon has not been lenticular thus far.
