Thanks to “003,” we have some early sneak peek think-pink preview pics …
Looks like Shifty Drug & Vinyl Toupee are on their way …
If you’re saying, hey Shifty Drug Hauler is more dark pink than red, what’s up with that?
Well, his current release is too red …
Because if you look closely at the film …
While he is vaguely dark magenta … look at the SHIFTY DRUG logo – clearly the oval is dark pink … AND if you go back to the Blu Ray Finder …
SURPRISE!
This is his official design and color scheme so he’s actually incorrect in the film and at least his hauler looks color corrected … now we need Shifty Drug to shift a few Pantone colors … though if you look closely at the logo on the diecast …
You could argue that while the car might be dark red & yellow – the corporate logo has always been seen on the diecast & in the film as the correct magenta & pink so the truck should reflect the logo and not the race car, right?
So, get your pink on …
And also, conspiracy theorists? The graphic on the top of the hauler is back …

No new Haulers anywhere around here since Gil.

No different than NASCAR, the only variations are the make/brand(Peterbilt/Kenworth/Freightliner, etc.) of the semi cab pulling the trailers. Featherlite trailers are the official trailer of Nascar, so the graphics are what separate them from each other.

Vinyl Toupee Hauler on the package looks drunk
At a NASCAR race the haulers all lined up with their various colors and logos are an awesome sight. I’m looking to create my own pit road so keep those haulers coming. Got Nate working on my Apple hauler since we’ll probably never see that one.

Very nice!! Not too happy about the “pink Shifty Drug”…the car they made is red, so a matching hauler would of been nice, right?
They just need to redo the Car in the proper pink motif that Met wrote about above.
It’ll be interesting to see if they do it. That would put a huge dent in the value of the SOTS and make a lot of collectors and Red Line members very angry.
No…they just need to make the hauler right!!

It seems to be close to the pink of Tank Coat. I would have preferred the red, too. Even if it’s not technically correct.
They should have called it Tank Coat Hauler disguised as Shifty Drug Hauler XD
these 2 look great!! i am in the happiest mood ever as i have just been to my local TESCO store in the UK and the cars are a little harder to find over heer but the store have just baught some older stock and i managed to grab hold of a load of WOC cars which were Dexter with yellow flag, Lizzie, sally with cone, large fred, sputter stop, transberry juice, view zeen, spare mint and hamm. i just wanted to share my happiness with some one

how ya doing?? wish my tesco was like that!! are you collecting haulers or just the cars?? i’ve found argos to be the best bet, i went in looking for haulers and they brought the lot out the ware house so i could see what they had!!
my problem now do i keep them in the packs or let my little boy play with them lol
i would take them out the packets. it would be more fun seeing your boy playing with them. i nearly had a heart attak when i saw them all on the shelf. good luck in hunting down the cars!!!
Just wanted to throw this in…. Got my case of Dragon, Yokoza, Soaked McQueen etc. yesterday. I can’t believe how little difference there is between the Burnt and Soaked. Really have to look. Not really happy with it. Anyone else have any thoughts?
They’re both disappointing IMO. And yes, the only difference is the water droplets. Pretty lame.
I’ve still only seen one called soaked but he is definitely burnt with tiny water marks.
I’ve also seen just burnt.
I need to see a soaked one without the burn marks.
Add in Tank Coat, and my daughter will squeal at the pink hauler trifecta. The haulers are all still a “Must Buy!” in my house, even if the mainline singles are now yawn worthy.
Awesome can’t wait.
I think the last new haulers we’ve seen are No Stall & RPM – what have we missed? Shiny Wax, Sidewall Shine & Moodsprings?

How did we get to the point where there are 45 Gil, 20 Trunk Fresh, and 15 Nitroade haulers at every KMart, WalMart, Target, and Toys R Us within an hour of me? And no sign of Mood Springs or Sidewall Shine?
Saw Mood Springs hauler just after Christmas at 1 Target in San Antonio there were 6 of him. Had no idea he was going to be so hard to find later on. Only saw 1 more in a Target in Houston. Distribution again fails.
Same thing in California. Thought things would be different down in So Cal on my business trip…nope, same situation. Plenty of Trunk Fresh, Gil, Dinoco…. We do have tons of Sidewall Shine now so maybe…maybe eventually. However, since I haven’t seen any No Stall or RPM lately I’m not holding my breathe. Major FAIL.

Pink beautiful Pinks.
With these haulers released, we will have almost every color of the rainbow except violet: ROY G. BIV. and now including the secondary colors of light: Magenta, Cyan. Mix up all and you have White Wally.
These are gonna look so great lined up with my MSOTS set.
The same thing with the color issue is with Transberry Juice.
In the Film when he goes by he looks like a Dark Maroon and the
Die-Cast is Purple. Unless it’s my TV but I don’t think so.

I am still trying to figure out how one takes a car that is sitting long ways and roll him down a ramp that is sideways. Plus how does the weight of the car shift to the front, so the car becomes so heavy that it raises up the rear, so the front ties with mighty traction can then pull the middle part of the cars frame over the sharp decline in the ramp… What an animated imaginative individual Pixar has! (Now say that 3 times and tap your Pink cars together). …and Lois said to Superman, “PINK, you like pink don’t you”?
OK I really don’t want to spoil your funny post (although I’m about to do just that), but the “so the front tires with mighty traction…” bit doesn’t work. They’re all rear-wheel driven.
Oh No, Spoil Away, but did you forget that those cars were made in CHINA, and just like reading in a book, we read from left to right, while they read from right to left; which is why they Pixar cars have the traction in the front instead of the back hahahah

Shiny Wax is so pink that imo it makes Vinyl Toupee look very bright. I am sure it is just the juxtaposition. Anyway, 2 more that I need!

Shifty Drug is supposed to be the Cars equivalent of our Pepto Bismol, so the racer is way off from the pink color he should be.
I might have to do a repaint to make him match his hauler, as the hauler looks awesome!
Both of these will certainly stand out on the retail shelves!
