I got 2 20 piece cars set for my son he’s a HUGE fan, One to play with one and one to save I too got them at the Disney Store for 99.50.Such a great price I thought. I couldnt wait to give them to him on Christmas. The time came and he opened them and to my surprise he pointed out to me that Red had no wheels and indeed he did but they were inside his little cast body, then he said that Mcqueen was missing wheel his too were inside. I just told him i would return them and get him new ones and wouldnt you know in the 3 days he’s had them the wheels have poped off of 8 Cars. I went to the Disney Store and returned it. I am so disapointed in the quality of these cars they are poorly done, pure CRAP. we have a total of 300 hundred cars these 20 will not be missed. Good luck to everyone that has them we hope u have better luck than us.

I’m a huge fan of the Disney store cars but I absolutely agree on Mater. What were they thinking. It looks like I made it.

Lubbock’s Disney Store closed over a year ago and was replaced with Hippie Chick

I was in Corcord Mills (Concord NC @ Lowes Motor Speedway) Disney Store late this morning. There were 14 set’s of the 20 cars boxed set left. These were still discounted $20. Another good find, was the ability to pick up the “Cars Laucher Track”. This is the three mode drag racing track. The drag racing Christmas Tree lights are built into the track and there is the sound of the racers reving up and spinning out. The set once sold for $49.95.I was able to purchase it today for $29.50.

I love the mattel line but I jsut can’t get myself to buy the disney cars…I like them, but when will it end…? I was holding (and looked like a fool, I’m sure) all 4 box sets(tunerz, materdor and stunt mater) and a basket full of 1:43 piston cup cars and had to put them back…I can’t figure out the best way to display the 1:55 scale, let alone these bigger ones…not to mention the price…When the 1:43 go to 3 for ten, rather than 2 for ten, I might bite…till then, I’ll focus on my display problem..
