Mattel deserve to get ripped off like this for messing us around with promos. I drove miles to collect cars for the UK promo only to get Sidewall Shine. I didn’t do it for profit as I advertised the promo on here for cost regardless of if it was Gaskits or SS before we knew the identity ofthe car. Then I learn that all plm171 has to do is ask Mattel and they hand them over from the warehouse! I am not dissing Paul just highlighting the poor way collectors and children are treated by Mattel.

Good luck to this guy in Hong Kong, his prices have been steadily increasing each day as more and more people realise that Gaskits cannot be found in any other way. I have a French promo car in baggie and I traded the equivalent of $120 to get it. I wish mattel would get real and sell the items that people want. Paul Valdez my ___!

The next mystery promo? They can stick it where the sun don’t Sidewall Shine! As can be seen by the MTT cars if you make what people want in quantity they will buy it. It is so exasperating trying to collect these things that it actually puts people off. I have two MSOS sets which are both missing Tach O Mint. He was in the movie in a central scene and he is not available! Yet we get Gil and all the other extras who were sleeping at a truck stop!
