According to the department managers at our local Target, they will be in both sections at the Super Targets, however, the particular store we found these in is not a Super Target and were found in the Christmas section along with the singles. I guess it depends on the store where they will be located.

The globes at TRU are in the Cars section.

Confirmed. Just returned from Toys R Us, and found Sno Globe Mater Saves Christmas singles. No Mater. These are the same as the UK Disney Singels….

Now to see if the Box set goes elsewhere.

The singles in the globe packaging appear to be a Toys-R-Us item. Target has the singles in the Storytellers Collection packaging.

Just bought two sets of these at a local Taget store in Knoxville, TN. According to the toy dept. manager at another store the set will be released at all Target stores on November 8 (2009). It appears that Mater is going to be a Target exclusive and will not be sold as a single.

And no, we aren’t willing to sell either set.
