Picked up this set today and McQueen is different. He “winks” instead of just closing his eyes. Chick and King seem the same as their single release.

Do I really want to buy a 4 pack to get one car I want? No, but I assume Mattel puts these out more for the parent buying them for their kids then for collectors, but I could be wrong.
My son and I like the lenticular cars. To us they have a little more “life” to them. It would be nice if they made all the lenticulars with eyes changing position or expression like on Flo, Lighting Ramone and Green Ramone. Although there has been much criticism of lenticulars on this site by those who post replies and it would be easy for someone to conclude that most collectors are against them, I wonder if this is really true? At the K-mart CARS Day I went to, the 9 or so people there were collecting lenticulars. Seeing that there is around 1,700 members on this site, it would be interesting to know how a bigger percentage of members feel about lenticulars. Is it possible to do an anonymous poll on this site?

Yup. I was pretty happy as the regular price is a bit much for what you get. Check your store. They probably ring up item not found there too. When they ask you how much they are, you can always tell them that your friend got a set for $3.76.

I already did this, except I kept the racers (what little were released). I’m going to return them as well, because there is no way I’m going through the buy 4 for 1 scam again.
