I should have looked more carefully when I snapped the pic but it was obvious that 2 cases had just been unloaded on the shelf and they were literally dumped out of the case directly to the shelf as they were still stacked inverted on each each other the same way the cases are packed. It looked like each case had at least 2 Showgirl packs and possibly a gold mia/tia pack but I didn’t see any Finish Line Mcqueen packs or Dexter Hoovers or Damaged Kings.
what Samuel found is exactly what I found at my Target. Except I found charlie checkers 3 packs, 2 showgirls, 1 finishline Mcqueen and 1 gold mia tia’s and 1 chick hics mia tia. I didn’t see any dexters Hoovers so I figured he was taken out of the case again and replaced with the good old chick hics mia and tia.
Weird, this is what mine has out:
1 Charlie Checker
2 Showgirls
1 Gold Mia & Tia
1 Chick Hicks Mia & Tia
1 Mater & Chick Pitties
With that case contents, it will be the slowest selling 3 pack since the switch to the boxed packaging. There’s only one new 3 pack, and it’s a reissue of an old design. I may buy one Charlie Checker 3 pack for a UK friend, and that’s it. Thanks Mattel, for leaving me more money to spend on the upcoming TRU promo and the October Kmart event.
We had our reset already and no sign of case F yet. In act, we haven’t gotten anything new in weeks.
I saw that 3 pack with Charlie Checker and assumed it was an old one. I couldn’t see if the lights were yellow or red, although I did wonder. Also, there were no Dexter Hoovers there – I think that case assortment must have changed.
The ONLY red-tail-lighted Pace Cars(Charlie Checker) that I have ever seen and owned were the WM version where he was labeled as the Pace Car.
Anything since then has had yellow tail lights, and I don’t that will change.
One WM had a ton of 3 packs and when I saw the Showgirls I stopped looking since we already have it. Wonder if it was the new case and I just didn’t pay enough attention.
Well, Wal-Mart did say it was looking to have ‘uncluttered’ aisles. At least Wal-Mart in Maine has met its goal.
So the only thing from that case/wave that will interest me are the little Dexter Hoover flag color and Charlie’s tail lights that I can’t see from the window.

I heard some one in Cali already found and bought that case and all their crumps have disaapeard from their carpet.

After I enter Target, at 8:00 AM and 1 second, and race to the toy section, I can rest my eyes when I get to that part of Disney Pixar shelf. Note to brain: SKIP!
I guess I should thank Mattel, really. They don’t want me to wear out my toy hunting skills; that’s why that case is the way it is.
It must be because those cases and three packs will be floating there through January clearance.

No, I just like to riff on Mattel’s typical assortment blandness as
well as their typical corporate missteps.
all I can say is that when these go 75% off at target or where ever,
Mattel still must make a tidy profit.
I mean look at the gauging collectors took when Movie Moments were well priced over $6.99. It cost way more money to by two than to buy each one, if available, singly.
IN the past I have bought Movie Moments after Xmas for a buck.
Recently I have seen items like the old vertical 3 pack of Gold Tia and Mia at Marshalls related stores cheaper than they were at WM or Targay. Obviously overstock. Nobody wanted them.
Not many collectors will buy Case F, IMO.

found 2 w/Charlie Checker, 1 w/Mater and HTB pitties, and one Chick/Mia/Tia 3 pack (I got that one). And those were at TRU.
The two Targets I went to had zilch. I swear, i’ve developed this nervous ‘grabbing’ tic…anytime I see a Cars product that I have yet to see…I snatch it from the shelf (this tic first showed itself in 2007 when I saw Dinoco Mia/Tia for the first time. Recently, it manifested itself when I first saw Sven).
