    I actually had a need for 24 of them for Christmas gifts for kids– so far I have had 3 orders of 6 go thru– as they have said in previous posts– we will wait and see…… would make a lot of kids happy though

      Did you send back to Kmart with a return service provided by UPS???

      When I did not get a credit after 2 weeks of the case being picked up I contacted Kmart Cust Service…

      They needed the UPS return shipping label information and I had my credit in like 5 days after that… nice and easy once I got the emails sent in…

        The kmart box did not have a return slip so i called them 3 times already assuring me they are going to send me an email with a ups call tag and or send it with our ups driver but its been almost 2 months. My credit card services is handling a claim now so god knows when this is going to be finalized.

          Wow… I emailed all my information to them and they issued a call tag right away… within 2 days UPS was there with the return label… There was no return label in my case either, just a packing slip[ with return instructions…

    Got on at about 2 till, kept refreshing till about a min after did all the stuff got an order confermation. whole process about 5 min.

    I have finally received my order confirmation via email. It took close to an hour and a half. Quite a lot. I ordered the limit of 6. Now that I have my confirmation, I have decided to experiment a bit. I have just placed an additional order for 6 more using my same Matty account with the same credit card and the same address. The site did let me complete everything without any problem. I already have the: “Thank you for your purchase. Your order is currently being processed. You will receive an email shortly confirming your purchase and including delivery information.” Now I just have to wait and see if I get the confirmation or cancellation via email. I’ll keep you all posted with the results of this little experiment. I have quite a bit of local interest in these so I don’t mind if they both go through.

        yeah like i said, i have ALOT of local interest in these. kevin and jake hooked me up with a case of 8 directly from SDCC. i kept 1, 3 for 3 local collector friends, and 4 for a local comic shop that I support and want to help keep in business through these hard times. these items are a hot commodity for them. they want more to sell locally. another local friend has many collector friends in Mexico as well that desperately want some of these as well. like i did with my kmart cases, i want to help them get some of these as well. if both orders go through, only some people are going to be very happy. alot are going to still miss out as i am only limiting myself to help out with possibly these 12 only. support your local comic shop, support your local economy any little way you can. anything helps. NONE of these folks do ebay with these. it all stays locally.

          Home address, business address, and can add 6 more per employee.

          Seems like a good setup for them already.

            I am sure they can, don’t know if they did. The local shop is owned and operated by 4 people only, 2 retired firefighters, and 2 adult sons of one of them. They each take turns in running the shop for certain hours. It is a small shop and they all have families and other obligations like many of us do and have, reasons why most of us were “late” in ordering but thankfully got through. They may not have the time that I have I guess. They just let me take care of alot of stuff for them. I never really ask too many questions, just happy to oblige. So long as I get my money back, I have no issue in helping them. Since 2 of them are retired firefighters, they take a personal interest in this particular item for obvious reasons. They want to also hook up their local firefighter friends with them.

            While writing this response, I got the confirmation from Matty that my second order went through. It is confirmed. So much for the limit. You can place multiple orders.

              Rumbler, saw your post after I made mine about firefighters.
              I think if more fire fighters knew about these that they would be out of stock by now!
              But plan on giving some away to the local firemen at the station.

                That is a great thing that you are doing Barbara. I commend you for it and hence why I “second” you on your call. We all do what we can in our own little way. There are not many mom and pop type comic shops and we need to support them. My local one in particular also happens to be run by retired firefighters, an added extra incentive for me to help them. Jake and Kevin did me the huge favor of obtaining for me quite a bit of SDCC stuff for them. Can’t wait till they arrive and I am able to present them to them. Donating time and effort is a great thing to do as well when one is not financially stable enough to help in other ways.

      I had an order placed and when I got to payment it gave me an error code. So, I did another order and I just got 2 confirmation emails. So yours will probably go through too.

        yeah but how many did you order? remember, the limit is 6, so you can assume that you can actually order 6 times only 1 item and it can go through 6 times. that is why i ordered the max of 6 first initially. in theory the system should not let me order anymore, but it is. if i get a confirmation email instead of cancelation, then the system did not do it’s supposed job. unless they are doing like kmart, where there is a limit, but you can actually place multiple orders and they still will go through.

          It might fall through when processed. KMART kicked out orders that SEEMED like DOUBLE charges . . . maybe the Matty system will do the same . . . who knows . . . it looks to me like they are STILL availible . . . I think everyone will get what they need!

          I am really happy that our overseas folks are getting in on this!!

            KMART did not cancel a single one of my orders, but I did hear about such cancelations. I waited over an hour and a half till my initial ordered was processed before placing a second one on Matty. So no duplicate error charge should be assumed, but we will see. I’ll keep you all posted until I get that email. There is a lot of product still available so yeah, I am sure everyone is getting theirs, including overseas folks. That is great to hear.

    Just ordered 2 SDCC RSMs at 10:15 PDT (an hour late), one for grandson and one for me! Couldn’t order any sooner due to the pressures of commerce, a 9AM meeting. But everything went quickly, no red screens or anything. Took longer to figure out how to order 2 than it did to complete order. Sometimes there are advantages to being late :-)

    i am so annoyed .. this stinking site first wouldnt let me in like everyone else im sure.. and not to mention something was weird and it made me do 3 seperate orders with 8.70 shipping each time?!?! im going to call and see if they will combine since some people it worked to do more than 1 in one order :(

      Did you see when you add it to your cart, there is a box with a Quantity of 1 in it. You can then change that to a different number and hit the refresh below that (the two arrows in a circle). Then it updates your total. See if that works? You could try to reorder 3 and then cancel the other orders. Hope you get the combined shipping!!!

        i did put the quantity 3 in each time :( and then i would get to the order page and it would say one.. i was afraid of how fast it would go so i just confirmed it .. ugh.. and SOMEHOW lol i ended up with 4 orders haha

          Haha, I know the feeling. I was having a heart attack when I realized how late it was for me (30 minutes past GO time!). I pretty much didn’t look closely at anything because I wanted the confirmation before they sold out. You just never know!!

            i am so mad right now its not even funny i called and the lady was a jerk she wouldnt help me at all she said they are already processing and im like well its not my fault that it wouldnt let me do it more than 1 per order.. and shes like you could have called.. im like i did and waited 10 minutes.. and ‘what if they would have sold out’ hmm then i would have been screwed either way.. so then i said well cancel the 4th order becuase i didnt order it.. and shes like i cant becuase its in process but you can return w/ out the shipping refund im like what the heck i am so mad right now

                  try and go in through you order history and CANCEL those orders. See Nascars post alittle further up. Once it Cancels, reorder . . . or call back and get a DUDE you can SWEET TALK instead of a mean CHICK!! :)

                  SO aaron called back and got a GUY and the guy told him all that lady had to do was call the processing place .. 2 minutes later the guy comes on the phone has the 4th order cancelled and shipping charges combined.. I’m female but it seems to me that the men always get things done in customer service more than the women.. .at least its fixed.. im done with my rant and i have my beautiful martin autographed set that i just got today!!!! to make my day happier LOL

    Yep got mine through at 11:17 central. ‘Had to wait in line’ for an open register.

    Had a hang-up with the credit card for some reason. But the debit card worked fine.

    Still waiting for the confirmation email. And the email to remind what my password from last year was. I figured it out on my own to get in.

    For those who are getting errors, just wait it out. Had the error page for about 5 minutes. Then it opened and I completed my order.

    You know, I just went through like I was going to order everything else that was available from SDCC 2009. Did not finalize the order, but also didn’t run into a single problem. The only one I kept getting the please wait Red Screen of Kill Me Now was the Mater.

    Maybe they should learn something from this?

    Good news for international collectors: I just ordered two from Germany and both orders went through without any delays or errors! Also, shipping for one item is only 9.95!

      Don’t forget those Customs fees when they arrive into your country though! That’s why I only ordered one, customs fees are usually astronomical!

    Just got two on the site (will I someday wish I’d bought the six limit? Ahh, collecting Gods, how you toy with me! For now, I will appease you by buying just one for son and one for me).

    I did get the “wait please” doohicky page for a bit, but it refreshed to the right page, just like they said, and then I was able to get the order done no problem. Also picked up the JLU Green Lantern 3 pack while I was stopping through. All in all, quite a smooth experience – especially compared to the KMart debacle!

    I got from one NASCAR signed by Martin to be my unopened piece.

    Just got ordered four more, two for each of my sons, one to open and play with for us and one to sit at work. Also ordered 3 buzz lightyears for each of us.

    No problems at all. In fact ordered about 3 mins before at 11.57pm and was all sweet. Very smooth and no problems.

    I forced the reload about a million times (it felt like) instead of waiting the 3 seconds. I eventually got there, and had to refresh several times during the order process. But, I eventually got them.
