Disney Pixar CARS: We’re Taking Over Your House One Room at a Time …

Of course, CARS will easily take over one room that’s unguarded … spouse is away for an hour πŸ™‚

Okay, in this case, you actually have to buy a house and then Disney will spiff it up one or more of the room in a Pooh theme, Princesses, CARS or Hannah Montana.

“The Disney Dream Rooms continue the collaboration of KB Home and Disney since the fall of 2007 to create an opportunity for the young and young at heart to live among the Disney characters and stories they love most. Packages include Disney-inspired design elements such as exclusive paint colors, carpet, window treatments, lighting fixtures, closet doors, chair rails, and other decorative touches such as wall graphics and stenciling.”

When you buy a new KB Home, you can choose a Disnified room decoration.

For CARS … here’s what it looks like …

Your specific choices are …

“The Cars Revved-Up Room is inspired by Disney*Pixar’s smash hit film Cars and the characters most recently seen in the Cars Toons animated shorts on Disney Channel. The room features a custom carpet design with tire tracks woven into it, as if Lightning McQueen himself has been zigzagging across the floor.”

Not to be rude but if you took away that McQueen sticker from the wall, does it seem like a minimum security prison motif or some lawyer conference room colors? Shouldn’t the room be a lot more red?

Based on the list – it looks like you can make your own … and it’s certainly nowhere near as cool as the room Jedijson made for his son with his own hands

THIS IS A CARS motif room!

And how can you have a CARS room without a tilted racetrack shelf like Jason’s (Camlgt)?

No wonder our housing industry is in such disarray.

You can find more info here– including a typical total-100% realistic PR video … This is the video you get when house builder lawyers and idiots write industrial video scripts. Plus all the camera work you’d expect from a cell phone.

And remember, first time homebuyers, get an $8,000 credit in 2009!

Cali residents have another possible $10,000 in credits! BUY BUY BUY. (But not the Hannah Montana motif for your master bedroom – DIVORCE DIVORCE DIVORCE).

Come and take some free money!*

*Some restrictions apply. Must have income to buy a house now and must have credit score of 800 before our few remaining employees will talk to you. Yep, all the fun is gone.

Thanks for the heads up Jeaks.

that is an embarrassment for Disney and to me looks like a massive cash in on a popular line(s). Half of the items for sale vaguely have any connection to Cars, like the fan and those carpets. The one with the tire tracks looks dirty to me. I believe anyone could do better and the proof is in our members pictures.

I dig the carpet with treads, otherwise, I would take a big pass on that room. Why do designers always think boys need ugly rooms? Clearly Jedijson knows better.

MET, I’m curious as to how you know what the decor on the inside of a minimum security prison looks like πŸ˜‰ …but I agree that room is pretty tacky, JediJson’s room is infinitesimally cooler.

  • ScoobyDoo says:

One question for NCC-2000. Are these ordered based on release date, purchase date, character name (alfabetical), CARS colour code, CARS number order or ????

    • NCC-2000 says:

Well that depends on the series lol. Deserts and Supercharged are alphabetical, WOC and ROR are by the number. Anything else usually falls back to alphabetical unless there’s an easier way to do it.

  • NCC-2000 says:

I’ll take my Cars room over their version any day of the week thanks, lol.

One comment – I want a room like that!

Dude! It would have to be in my own apartment after the divorce…!!!!

Yeah – bad enough the collection is takin’ over the basement…
