Mattel Disney Pixar Diecast CARS: Target Easter Eggs – Other Photos
The first Target Easter post is here … and of course, the two CARS without an Easter egg photo next to it were two CARS already out, Charlie Checker & Shiny Wax Crew Chief but if case you want to see them nestled next to their egg house.
And Charlie Checker – still cannot really tell if it’s red-tail light or yellow-tail light versions or of course, Mattel can have fun with us by mixing it up …
Generally Target is pretty quick about the holiday section switchover … on the morning of February 15, Target will start stripping away the Valentine signage and out up the Easter signage and items … and it will vary from store to store how quickly these and toys will go up … generally the bagged candy and high margin candy seems to go up first …
And presuming this photo is correct, this will be the first single release of McQueen corrected with Rust-eze decal on back spoiler though technically not a mainline singles release (and of course, the first release of correct McQueen is in the current Target 4-pack).
There are 6 to a box – not sure of the actual pack until someone sees it in a store but if I had to guess, there should be at least 2 McQueen’s and maybe even 3 with 1 each of the other CARS.
So start looking in a couple weeks … Happy hunting!

I scored the eggs today. Something tells me the packaging is a problem. All the cards were warped and bent up, but it must be tought to ship and EGG!! LOL
Unfortunately,
most were packaged and sent in the Target box that states $.75 credit for returning… I was able to get a set that wasn’t bent TOO much.

Just came from target they had 1 case of the easter eggs… 3 Lighting Mcqueens (1) Charlie Checkerd (1) Chief Shiny Wax (1) Chief Spare O Mint, Does anyone know if these are the only CARS that will be released in the Eggs?
That’s all of them! Mine was just putting the shelving up today, and expected all the goodies by the end of the week.
I found this same assortment today . . . just what everyone wants 3 lightning eggs!!
I saw one like that too, so I don’t know if someone returned it, or if Target is just completely emptying its old stock.
