Mattel Disney Pixar Diecast CAR: N20 Cola In the House

Literally. N20 Cola has arrived for Micky.

If you’ve forgotten, buy 5 CARS, mail in a bunch of stuff + $5 dollars and get N20 Cola “free.”

Remember, you still have 6 MORE weeks to find and buy eligible CARS so don’t panic just yet. B CASE mainline singles just shipped out from the warehouses last week and the C CASE might make it out before year’s end. You don’t need to mail in your cards until January 15, 2009 so even if you want to give them mint on cards as Christmas/Hannakah/Festuvus gifts, just pretend as if you’re concerned about mother Earth and merely recycling when you swoop in seconds after they rip the cards open … :-)

And I’m going to go on a limb here and say, no I do not think Micky will trade you N20 Cola and the Apple CAR … Thanks for the photo Micky.

  14. I got mine just today….problem is mine’s damaged. The end where the World of Cars emblem is located is melted and split. That and I was told I missed out on Sidewall Shine because I missed the cutoff date. I don’t know if they’ll replace it.

  17. Hey guys just thought i’d point out, that the website for the UK promo is now up and running, no word on what the car is yet. I’ll keep you all posted.
    Annoyingly they are doing the whole “collect the numbers from the stickers attached to the cards” thing, meaining i now have to search for cars with the sticker on, not just any old car!

    website up and running but i have not seen one car with the sticker yet, not one! and the last promo for vynil toupee people were just peeling the stickers off as you didnt need the till receipt.

  18. How particular are they about the cards matching the UPC/SKU numbers on the reciepts? I got away with them not matching on the Sidewall Shine promo! If I can do it again then my little one is getting one for Festivus!!!

    I ordered on October 13th and got it November 17th but it was damaged. I don’t know who to contact to have them replace it.

    I contacted customer support and they pretty much told me I’m SOL. They said they warranty the car not the packaging. I tried explaining to them that this is a special promotional piece and not available on the retail market but they said no way. I guess I better order another one…but then I suppose that’s what they want.

  20. Yeah, I missed Sidewall Shine, and want to get N20, but like many, there’s one teensy little problem- MY TRU NEVER HAS ANYTHING I NEED!!’ (huff, puff, huff, puff).

    Like many, I do not want to buy extras of Bug Mouth, Ramone, etc.

  22. Today I opened my mail box to find a little box from Mattel. Because the box was so small, I knew they couldn’t have sent me another damn HW Dairy Delivery Truck. Our N2O Cola Car and case was nicely packed, wrapped in plastic inside a bubble baggie. He’s great!

    I placed my order online, paid shipping by CC and got an order confirmation on 10/27.
    Mailed out my receipt and card backs on 10/28.
    Received another order confirmation on 11/10.
    Got a shipping confirmation on 11/13.
    Received Car today, 11/19.

    Btw, one of the card backs/UPC codes didn’t match the receipt I sent in. Impound McQ wouldn’t ring up so the cashier rung another Car up twice. I was a little worried about it but it all worked out fine.

    Hope everyone who ordered N2O Cola gets theirs soon! :)

    Great, now what? I just got my second confirmation e-mail instead of a shipping confirmation, meaning the cheapskates at Mattel haven’t even SHIPPED mine yet! :( I paid online on the 28th, and I mailed the cards on the 30th. What have I done wrong????????

    I would call Mattel Consumer Relations 800-524-8697 and ask for an update on your order. You may want to have the Order Case Number handy when you call. I just called to get an update on my other N2O Cola order which I sent on 11/7 and they haven’t processed it yet.

    I got the same email today; I know they received my stuff on 5 November (checked delivery confirmation) so yeah I would do what Fiddleheads said and call. I assumed it meant they finally got around to opening my package and they’ll be sending my Cars off soon.

    You haven’t done anything wrong. I live less than an hour from the address we had to send them to and I haven’t received a shipping notice either.

    I am sure we all got stuck in the big 2nd wave of entries traffic jam and they’ll have to work through it. We’ll all get them eventually. Hopefully sooner than later, though because I have 10 of them coming in. :lol:

  23. Found ROR case C singles at TRU this morning. The UPC codes on the new Cars weren’t in the system so they all had to be rung up with the same number. When I got home I called Mattel customer service and explained what happened when I purchased the Cars at TRU and asked if there would be a problem if the card backs did not much up with the receipt for the N2O promo. The customer rep took my info and made a note that I called about the receipt not matching the card backs. He also gave me a reference number to write down on the N2O order form that I will be sending in.

    It was a pain in the butt to call but at least I know that I won’t be getting a letter or email saying, “Sorry but your receipts and card backs do not match…NO N2O FOR YOU!!!”

  25. Hi, I was just wondering if these TRU exclusives are likely to be released as part of the nornmal Cars line in the future?
    I live in the UK but am currently on holiday in Florida and have bought 5 cars from TRU - but having checked the website for the offer they don’t ship outside of the US (no surprise there!) Ebay seems the only other option but $30+ and probably similar in shipping to England is a bit more than $5 mail in - so should i hold on?!
    Thanks in advance for any replies.

    (MET: I think it’s safe to say yes, it will be re-re-released but as to when, that’s hard to say - nothing scheduled now but it would not be totally surprising if even before 2009 is over? Enough time will have passed … though I should also point out I’m sure someone here will be happy to help you receive the CAR here in the US and mail it to you in the UK - either for postage or maybe a trade of something? Drop a note in the trading forum …).
